This 6-day tour takes you on a point-to-point journey down Taiwan's breathtaking east coast, from a warm-up ride along Taipei's riverside bikeways all the way south to Taitung. Ride the Hualien coastal route with the Pacific as your backdrop, stop at the historic Guangfu Sugar Factory, and pedal through the wide open rice fields of the East Rift Valley along Brown Boulevard, one of the most iconic stretches of countryside cycling in all of Taiwan. For those who want a little more adventure, there's the option to try whitewater rafting on the Xiuguluan River. Stays are tucked into charming local spots along the way, including a riverside B&B in Guangfu and the Ita Taiwan Indigenous Cultural Resort in Taitung. This is a tour that feels unhurried, immersive, and completely off the usual tourist path.
