If you enjoy cycling, riding your Brompton overseas is an exciting experience. Our tours are curated with both cycling and comfort in mind, featuring scenic and safe cycling pathways. All participants are supported with passenger and equipment vehicles throughout, so you can focus on enjoying the ride.
Depending on the tour you have selected we try to maintain a 1:6 rider to guide ratio. Our guides are also able to handle mechanical issues related to your Brompton.
Our emphasis is on the total experience which include:
- Safe and scenic routes which might not always be continuous
- Sufficient safety vehicle space for contingency purposes
- Carefully selected dining venues
- Access to unique points of interest and cultural immersion activities as we journey through those parts.

You do not need to be a strong cyclist. You do need to ride safely and be comfortable on your Brompton for around four hours a day. The more distance you can cover, the more you will enjoy the trip. Please tell us about any medical condition before you travel so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Our base distance is 35km a day on all tours. If that is not enough, you can extend to 50km or 60km depending on the destination. From 12 riders, we usually split into two groups.
Group 1 rides faster, averaging 18km/h over longer distances. Group 2 takes it easy, averaging 12km/h with more stops along the way.
There is no obligation to ride every route. If you feel tired or would rather skip a section, hop into the support vehicle. It carries you and your bike any time you need.
Expect quiet minor roads and gentle slopes of up to 5% elevation. Apart from the Netherlands, most destinations have some climbing. The most scenic spots tend to be at the top of a hill.

The best destination isn't just about where you want to go—it's also about when you travel. Weather plays a huge role in creating an enjoyable cycling experience, which is why we carefully schedule our tours during each destination's ideal riding season.Factors such as temperature, rainfall, humidity, wind conditions, and seasonal highlights are all taken into consideration to ensure comfortable and memorable rides. Please browse When and Where page to find out more. Please browse our travel guide for more detailed stories about the destinations you are interested in.
It give us a pleasant day and we can happily ride for long hours.
To us, it means a temperature of around 18 to 20 degrees. Cool enough to keep going. Warm enough to enjoy. We plan around that temperature and rainfall. If the morning looks unkind, we simply move the ride to later in the day. Nobody enjoys riding wet, and with us, nobody has to.Where a destination runs a touch warmer, we start earlier and let the Brompton do its job. We fold up, skip the dull stretches, and ride only the best parts of the day and the best parts of the route. So when we choose a month for a destination, we are really choosing the weather. Get that right and the rest falls into place. Please browse our When and Where page to find out more. Please browse our travel guide for more detailed stories about the destinations you are interested in.

We schedule our tours for the best possible weather, but rain is one thing we cannot control.
Safety comes first. Cycling is suspended in heavy rain and during Category 1 lightning warnings.Light rain is different.
We prepare participants to ride in it where conditions allow, so please pack for light rain and wind. With the right gear it is perfectly manageable, and we will re-route or shift the day's plan if the weather turns.
Small groups keep us nimble and let us adjust the programme as the situation changes. You are never obliged to ride in the rain. If it is not your idea of a good day out, sit it out. Your enjoyment is the point.
The support vehicle is always close by. If enough of the group would prefer an alternative programme and we can arrange it, we will. That is what sets us apart.
