Tours Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By completing and submitting the acceptance form and application details, you agree to the following conditions between Camp High Achievers Pte Ltd and you.


A. The Brompton Experiences Tour Participant, hereinafter referred to as the “Client”, will first be invoiced for 100% of the tour fee per person in Singapore Dollars (SGD) upon the acceptance of this proposal.


B. In the event that Camp High Achievers Pte Ltd, hereinafter referred to as “CHA”, does not receive any payment when due for whatever reason, CHA reserves the right to cancel the Client’s tour booking immediately, in which case the Client will pay the relevant cancellation fees set out under Section 2 (Payment, Cancellation & Transfer of Booking Policy).


C. The Client shall not make any amendments to the trip schedule once payment has been collected. Any amendments will incur an administrative fee of SGD 50.


D. The tour price excludes pre/post-tour accommodation, room service, mini-bar consumption, alcoholic beverages, laundry, internet and telephone charges, porterage, tips, unspecified meals or tours, excess baggage charges, passport and visa fees, personal and baggage insurance, increases in fuel surcharges and taxes, fines of any kind, cost of purchases, and all other costs, fees, or charges of a personal nature or as may be specified by CHA. A list of necessary expenses not included in the tour fee is illustrated in the detailed program briefing slides.


1. Booking Process

To reserve a place on the Brompton Experiences Bicycle Tour, you must complete the following:


  • Send CHA a copy of your confirmed flight itinerary (self-sourced air transport).

  • Complete and sign the Acceptance Letter.

  • Pay 100% of the total tour fee in SGD.


Payment details (PayNow, Cheque, or Cash) are available on the High Achievers Payment Link.


2. Payment, Cancellation & Transfer Policy

If you wish to cancel your tour booking, please notify CHA in writing. Once CHA receives your notice, the cancellation will take effect subject to the following refund schedule.


A change of participant is allowed and the booking may be transferred to another person for the same booking type. If you have booked a twin-share package, your replacement and rooming partner must both be agreeable to the arrangements.


CHA requires a minimum of 10 participants for the tour to proceed. CHA reserves the right to cancel the tour and issue a full refund of the tour fee if the tour cannot proceed due to insufficient participation.

3. Pandemic Travel Restrictions

CHA is unable to refund monies paid in full should travel restrictions imposed due to a pandemic force the postponement or cancellation of scheduled tours.


4. Insurance & Accident Coverage

Participants are required to purchase their own comprehensive travel and accident insurance prior to departure.


5. Route Changes

CHA reserves the right to:


  • Change the date of departure or conclusion of the tour, or modify any aspect of the tour for safety purposes or in the event of unforeseen obstructions.

  • Cancel or modify any routes of the tour or objectives set out in the itinerary.

  • Substitute different or equivalent routes within the tour in place of cancelled or modified routes.

  • Postpone, cancel, or delay any aspect of the tour if necessary due to unforeseen inclement weather, snow, icy conditions, hazards, or any other adverse conditions affecting the safety of participants and guides.


6. Health and Fitness Requirements

To fully enjoy and benefit from this cycling experience, you should be in good health and physical condition. If you have any medical, physical, or mental conditions, you must disclose them to CHA before booking. You are also obligated to notify CHA immediately if your health condition changes prior to departure. Please note that average daily cycling time on a Brompton bicycle during a tour is between 3 to 4 hours.


7. Assumption of Risk, Safety Declaration, and Limitation of Liability

By joining this program, you acknowledge and agree that:


  • This is a form of adventure travel that is more challenging and demanding, carrying a higher level of risk compared to conventional cycling, including potential exposure to injury or death.

  • Dangers and risks associated with adventure travel may include difficult terrain, sudden weather changes, remoteness from medical services, and evacuation difficulties in the event of illness or injury.

  • CHA reserves the right to withdraw any person who, in CHA’s opinion, is likely to endanger themselves or others. CHA also reserves the right to cancel any activity if safety concerns arise for you or any other person.

  • You must follow all instructions provided by CHA and use required safety equipment at all times. You accept the inherent dangers and risks associated with the adventure and the accompanying risk of injury, death, property damage, or loss.

  • Limitation of Liability & Indemnity: To the maximum extent permitted by law, CHA, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, loss, or damage to property incurred during the tour, except where caused directly by CHA's gross negligence or willful misconduct. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CHA against all third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your participation or failure to comply with safety instructions.


8. Reimbursement for Damage of Rental Bikes

For participants renting Brompton bikes and equipment from CHA on tour must:


  • Notify CHA immediately in the case of any accident, damage, theft, or malfunction.

  • Pay for any damage to, loss of, or theft of rental bike(s) and any included equipment. Total loss due to severe damage, theft, or failure to return the bike shall result in full replacement reimbursement costs for the bike, parts, or equipment.


9. Image Rights, Media Content, and Materials

By allowing CHA to capture photos and video footage during the tour, you agree to:


  • The use and reproduction of your name, likeness, and appearance in photographs, films, and recordings by any means and in any media format for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes for CHA.

  • All content from photographs, official blogs, emails, and promotional materials distributed by CHA remains the property of CHA and must not be copied or redistributed without prior written approval.

  • Photography and videography captured by participants are for personal use only. Commercial use of any photography or videography is strictly prohibited without explicit written permission from CHA.


10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
