When and Where we ride
Our destinations have been carefully selected to be suitable for the Brompton. Safe, quiet roads, with good surfaces, and views worth slowing down for. No fighting traffic. Roads where you can look up and enjoy where you are.
For a particular month in a year, there are select countries where the weather and season are ideal for cycling and outdoor activities. Where we tour would depend on the period that suits your travel schedule.
When you travel determines our destinations
Give us a pleasant day and we can ride for hours. Pleasant means a high of around 18 to 20 degrees. Cool enough to keep going, warm enough to enjoy. We plan around that temperature and when rainfall is at its lowest. Nobody enjoys riding wet, and with us, nobody has to. So when we choose a month for a destination, we are really choosing the weather. Get that right and the rest falls into place.

Where to begin, and where it leads
New to touring? Start easy.
Taiwan is our gentle introduction. It is close, it is friendly, and it runs regularly through the year, usually in the third week of the month. Kunming in China is another kind starter, with calm roads and easy days.
Once you have foundy our rhythm, the door opens. The Netherlands in June. Bhutan in autumn. Okinawa through the cooler months. These are the destinations that reward a little experience with the finest riding conditions we know.
We have taught first-time riders who could not manage ten kilometres, then watched them go on to complete full tours abroad. The path is real. We simply help you along it.
We keep watching the seasons
Seasons shift a little every year, and we watch them closely so you do not have to. When a good window moves, we move with it. Tell us where you would like to ride, and we will tell you when.
